Ultra Omega 3 contains omega 3 fatty acids.

Various types of fats and oils can be found in our diet. They consist of a mixture of saturated and unsaturated fatty acids. Omega 3 fatty acids are polyunsaturated fatty acids. Food sources such as some green vegetables and nuts contain polyunsaturated fatty acids, in the form of alpha-linolenic acid (ALA), the plant-based form of the omega-3 fatty acid. EPA and DHA are two examples of fatty acids of animal origin. We mainly find these in fish and crustaceans.

Recommended dosage
1 to 2 capsules per day with food

Do not exceed recommended daily allowance. Keep out of the reach of young children. Food supplements should not be used as a substitute for a varied and balanced diet and a healthy lifestyle. Children, pregnant and lactating women, consult an expert before use. Consult your doctor or pharmacist if you are taking medication simultaneously or if you have health problems. Not recommended for persons with bleeding disorder (haemophilia).

These polyunsaturated fatty acids have many health-supporting properties that depend on the dose. One softgel Ultra Omega 3 contains 1000 mg fish oil with 180 mg EPA and 120 mg DHA.

DHA (250 mg/day) contributes to the maintenance of normal brain function and normal vision. EPA and DHA together (250 mg/day) contribute to the normal functioning of the heart. EPA and DHA together (3 g/day) contribute to the maintenance of normal blood pressure.
