When we moved from the heart of Amsterdam to the south coast of Wellington, I fell head over heels in love with my new ocean backyard. On a phone call with Isaac not long after the move, I said, “I know there’s no ‘ocean’ ingredient, but gosh, I wish we could capture this incredible life force in a scent.” Isaac’s reaction was the spark that gave birth to Cyan Nori.
